This is Ellen, her husband, and 20 month old son. They came to visit us and the Burnett's during the holiday time. It was so fun to have a toddler running around. He knows how to count to 5 in English, and knows some nursery rhymes. Ellen recorded me doing some she didn't know so she could play them and teach her son - fun times!
A trip to the dentist for a cleaning - yup took all three - must floss better - hahaha just kidding. The lady on the far right is the dentist, then left is the hygienist, then the assistant. Very clean office and a very nice job done.
Say 'ah' Jack - anybody spot what is missing from this picture?
Zoom in on this one - I hope my dentist doesn't paint his fingernails! He does love to pull teeth though - Hey look, those are the teeth he treatment planned for me to have extracted! Nope - not a chance!
We went to the movies! We saw Hunger Games 3 in 3D. They serve kettle corn here. Any guesses on how much a large popcorn and two sodas were?.....
Answer to above question - 25 RMB or $4.16 USD - much more reasonable I'd say!
This is a Chinese dryer.
This is a Chinese dryer delivered to my apartment!! Yeah!
This is an air filter fan - brand new - watch for a few weeks down the road - It is already working and I am not surprised that only after a few days it is turning dark. There seems to be a layer of pollution on everything inside.
A trip to the zoo - cute cuddly looking Pandas - snoozing of course
Monkeys - they like monkeys, there are several different species here
A huge statue on a huge platform
Dad and kids playing tag under the statue
More monkeys - mom and baby cuddled up taking a nap in the sunshine
Hello hippo!
What I couldn't bring myself to take a picture of were two Seagulls in a cage in the aviary part. Nope, couldn't do it. I would rather have them flying around Ivar's eating my french-fries than cooped up in a cage... Interesting animal to have in a zoo though....
